Nelson Mandela
Couldn't believe the news of the death of our greatest father Nelson Mandela, his death has mourned the whole nation, he inspired every everyone for the work that he did in South Africa, we say thank you. I will always remember him.

vivienne westwood
My style icon is the amazing Vivienne Westwood one of the most iconic fashion designer this generation has ever seen, her cloth are just fundamentally fabulous, she is a creative woman. She is very different. I have been looking at her Red Label collection which I really want for Christmas.
What i have learnt soo far in the assignment
After months of doing this media assessment I have found it terribly hard especially the evaluation, I love writing but sometimes finding the right word to use is difficult, so I just hope that I impressed my teacher with the work that I produce.
We decided to make a cover video of 'Macklemore wings' one of my favourite songs, He's telling the story. It starts off with him as a kid; he bought the Nike shoes to be cool and to look cool, not for basketball. It's all about conspicuous consumption - that is to buy things to show off to people. The shoes were a symbol of status.
However, later on he starts to realize that he only bought them because of others. It wasn't because he loved them......it was because the market and the consumers convinced him to buy them to look "cool." Nike is making millions off of expensive shoes by making them a status symbol when really, you can't judge a person by their shoes. But in the end, all they really are is "just another pair of shoes." In this song the producers used a lot of shot so that the audience can see the situation in a more creative point of view, example:
Close up shot: we see straight away in the 30 sec after the video has started, the camera concentrate strictly on Macklemore face to show the audience the emotion that the character is showing, and to also present that the to the audience that the video is emotional.
Over the shoulder shot: this used to show what the main character sees in his point of view, it establishes contact between the subject and the viewer, it also put the audience in a position where they get an opportunity to see what the character is facing
Extreme close up; this used to show the main subject of the vide, which in this case is the 'Air max', since this is a Hip Hop genre the purpose of this shot is to show off the 'cool' trainers, which the singer is trying to tell us that he got through a lot to get to the top.

my ispiration in fashion
Rihanna is my inspiration especially when it comes to style, she always find try to stand out amongst thousand of celebrities, that why I love her. I always try to look like her but I fail, I end looking like a soldier who just finished a battlefield. But these can help YOU be a bit similar to her.
look cool in school
School can be quit patronising when it come to style, I mean who likes to dress-up in Uniform all day, be unique, that how I try to be everyday at school. One time I wore a scarf on my head covering most of my hair, I was kicked the same, my head teacher told me that I was being disrespectful to Muslims. How to look cool in school:

Be different in Winter
It winter in England at the moment but I don't let this ruin my style. I mean you can look good all the time but have the right cloth for the right season. Me, well, my mum always nag me about not covering my self properly in winter, it is like one of her usual routine that she does all the time, one day I am going to record her so that I don't have to hear her waste her voice.
This winter I have decided to save all my money so that I don't shop until boxing day where everything is cheap, I have gone for the smart-boyish look plus my new jacket which I bought from Boohoo.com.
I clearly love these though I couldn't get them any cheaper.
To finish off I added a bit of accessories, I wore this at a friends party.
